Sorry I haven't been good a updating lately. Since I've had the same dosage of prozac since I was 7 or 8 they finally decided to boost my dosage recently making my hands very shaky (and hard to paint).
Lykke Li is super. She is this cool singer from Sweden. The lyrics I put here reminds me of the forest singing for some reason. Now I want to go back to Vermont and listen to the night song of nature.
One of my favorite songs from Arctic Monkeys' album Suck it and See. I had an idea similar to this drawing for a STAC commercial where it is two people dressed similarly building a brick wall and the bricks might have information about STAC live or night while the song plays.
I dream to see LostAlone in concert one day. They never came to America because they are not big enough to have a tour here so they open for good bands when they tour in Europe. But girl can dream.
Hopefully I will not go to hell for making Adventure Time's Princess Bubblegum look like a whore. I also hope I will be able to see Marina and the Diamonds next month in concert. Is it cannibalism if Princess Bubblegum chews gum? Probably. I hope the social activists won't come after me.
Please excuse my spelling error. I don't feel like fixing it. ***Atheist
Every single time I see the title of this song I get stunned. It brings so many thoughts to my mind. How scary that could be for somebody who doesn't believe anything happens after death and your end is coming soon. Religiously I don't know what to believe. I personally hope something happens after I die but I won't know that until I die. Dying is one of my greatest fears because of the unknown. I imagined a dying patient falling off a patient onto traffic. This song comes up in my ipod a lot when I am in the city so that could be why I probably imagine falling off the very tall buildings.
If you can't read my handwriting the lyrics I wrote are:
"Coming Back" by Gotye. I think this is one of my favorite songs on his album Like Drawing Blood. Whenever I listen to the song I get this little mind-music video in my head that is in the style of a silent film with a quote and then the visual. I think what I drew here was the scenario that a woman kills the guy she loves and then goes in denial about him being dead.
I hope you notice the guy who got arrested is sleeping. I used to think the lyrics were "I was born tired I've never got arrested" thinking it was a pun saying I never got a-rested but it was just "I was born tired never got rested". I like my version better to be honest. Maybe because I am tired most of the time and I don't have a criminal record.
"I'm Not the One" by The Black Keys:
You may soon learn that My Chemical Romance is my favorite band ever. I used lyrics from one of their new singles "Boy Division".
If you can't read my unattractive handwriting the lyrics are:
"All We Ever Wanted Was Everything" is a song by Bauhaus but I listened to MGMT's cover on the album Late Night Tales: MGMT. I cut up the Delia's and Ikea magazine. If you look closely you can find each member of One Direction.
Here it is:
Hello!
I'm Sarah if you don't know, and this is a new attempt at a 365. Last time I tried a 365 I was a freshman and I failed around day 50. I think what made me fail the 365 last time was I made my rules too hard. To get what I wanted done each day soon showed to not be possible. It also wasn't something I enjoyed.
This time around in my Junior year of high school I wanted to make this more enjoyable, and more possible. I decided to do a drawing that relates to a song I'm listening to. I listen to music everyday so why can't I also do a drawing every day? This is to get a drawing out every day for a year. 365 song related doodles.
I'm actually excited to see them all.
